Founded in 2004, SKOPJE FILM STUDIO (SFS) is an independent film production company with a portfolio of shorts, documentaries and feature films by acclaimed authors as well as young talents. From the outset, we have been a co-production-oriented company and established long-lasting professional relations with film authors, producers and funds from the region and across Europe. Over the years, we have produced and co-produced films that have been screened at festivals such as Locarno, Berlinale, Karlovy Vary, Chicago, Montreal, Sao Paulo, Warsaw, Valladolid, Taormina, Mannheim-Heidelberg, Sarajevo and Goteborg. Recently, we produced the documentary CONCRETE TIME (2024) by Igor Ivanov, Darijan Pejovski’s MIMI (2022) and co-produced PLANETA 7693 (2023) by Gojko Berkuljan, SILENCE OF SIRENS (2023) by Gazmend Nela, ESCORT (2023) by Lukas Nola, GUARDIANS OF THE FORMULA (2023) by Dragan Bjelogrlic.
