The Piano Room is an art-house film that tells a contemporary, universal story revolving around a number of characters. It is the second feature film directed by Igor Ivanov and produced by Skopje Film Studio with Restart Production Slovenia and Eye To Eye Serbia. The script was written by Zanina Mirchevska and Ivanov, by the motives of Zanina's play "Dies Irae". For this film, the production company got support by the Macedonian Film Fund, B2B Market-FEST Belgrade and SEE Cinema Network. Experienced authors and film professionals worked on this film, and the roles were granted to actors from Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Germany, United Kingdom and USA. The original music was written and performed by the worldwide known pianist Chilly Gonzales. Languages spoken in the film are: Macedonian, German, English, Turkish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian and Hebrew.

 

The Piano Room was released in September 2013.
